Boat Songs Testimonials
Jimmy
Buffett fans will feel at home at Puffing Billy's Pub on Northwest
Broad Street. The establishment will become "Margaritaville
in Murfreesboro," with Buffett protegé EricStone
performing Buffett tunes.
Stone
"is considered the No. 1 guy in the country" when
it comes to Buffettesque performances and Caribbean music, pub owner Doug Patrick
said.

Eric
is a great performer and worked very hard for me. He put in
a lot of hours in Miami and Chicago performing Caribbean music. He's a real asset to
our boatshows. His Caribbean music is the perfect fit.

Murphy, Show Manager, NMMA Strictly Sail
I
was at the Miami Strictly Sail Boat Show and heard Buffett
songs. Being a parrothead, I was enjoying Eric's rendition.
When he took a break, I said to my friend "Wasn't he
great?" My friend said "What, I thought it was a
tape."

Eric
is very professional in what he does, a great songwriter and
musician, he will surprise you in the amount of music one
man can produce. If clear blue ocean water, white sandy beaches
and a soft tropical breeze is something you enjoy then let
Eric and his music take you there. I highly recommend him.
You may also want a pina colada to go along with it.

On
a recent trip to the Miami Boat Show, I saw and heard the
most incredible talent that I have ever encountered in my
entire life. I was on the far side of the arena at the show
when I heard who I assumed was either Ronnie Dunn (of Brooks
and Dunn) and Jimmy Buffett. My wife assumed the same thing.
It had been rumored that J.B. himself might show up at the
show. Being a somewhat self proclaimed Parrotthead, we made
tracks immediately to the stage. To my amazement and gratitude,
there standing on the stage was Eric Stone. Eric was performing
like no other [name] that I've had the pleasure to hear.
Thanks,
Eric you made our trip to the Boat Show complete...... Enjoy
your (no name) status because it will rapidly change to a
major headliner in the very near future. Once again thank
you Eric Stone for a very memorable trip.

We
were sitting in a waterfront Marina Bar in Mantanza's inlet
called "The Old Bonita Fish Co." locally known as
Bonita Bills, it was the middle of the week and things were
pretty quiet. I was having a couple of cold ones with a guy
named Eric when he asked me if people would mind if he brought
in his guitar and played a few songs. I said. "Not a
problem."
By
the time he had tuned up and sang a few songs off his CD the
dockers in the marina started to listen. Then after a half
dozen tunes we could see dinghies from the anchorage tying
up to the dock. The place really started to liven up, everyone
was clapping and singing along and having a real good time.
The bad part was, I was elected to take orders for his new
CD "Songs For Sail" because everyone wanted to listen
to his Caribbean style music wherever in the world they were sailing. The boy is
ALRIGHT!!!

We
first discovered Eric Stone singing for his supper at the
Atlantic City, Chicago and Miami Boat Shows. After a particularly
rough evening at a local bar, we knew he belonged with Lats&Atts.
This guy is what Jimmy Buffett was as a youngster. His songs
have the true feeling of a cruiser entertaining his guests.

Saturday Night, my fiancee chartered a sailboat (Captain Kidd)
for us out at Kemah, Texas. We went out on a sunset cruise in
the bay and my fiancee proposed to me. It was great! On the
boat, they were playing Eric Stones cd. My finacee's daughter
loves manatees, and The manatee and the Jellyfish song was the
last song played before he proposed so we wanted to get the
CD to have something to remember the experience by.
